BC Ferries has issued guidelines for Tidal Restrictions for long loads, low loads and vehicles with significant overhangs traveling on the Gabriola-Nanaimo Route.
These guidelines provide clarity for drivers of RVs, vehicles with trailers, and commercial vehicles who need to determine when they can expect to safely board the ferry.
