A reminder that the following sailing cancellations are in effect:
- Continuing this week, the 5:05 pm ferry will be cancelled leaving Descanso Bay ***excluding Wednesdays***.
- Continuing this week, the 7:05 am ferry leaving Descanso Bay M-F will be cancelled.
BC Ferries advises that the reason for these cancellations is that the Nanaimo Port Authority is unable to provide space for the Gwawis to tie up in the evenings due to urgent repairs needed for the tie up dock.
The FAC has no further details at this time, we have requested a timeline update.
