BC Ferries has released a report into the August 12 incident in which an asphalt truck belonging to Royal Paving caused part of the Nanaimo Harbour trestle to collapse, resulting in ferry services being diverted to Duke Point for about three weeks.  The Inquiry concluded that a breakdown in communication was a factor in the incident, in which the asphalt truck fell into the Harbour.
